This paper describes the Infinite Spirit’s unifying agencies and functions. It begins with the intriguing words, “A strange thing occurred …,” going on to explain that this occurrence happened when, in order to jointly personalize themselves, the Universal Father and the Eternal Son united in the presence of Paradise. And in this eternity moment, the “strange thing” that occurred was that a Being appeared, a being of unlimited spirituality, “co-ordinated with absolute mind and endowed with unique prerogatives of energy manipulation...Nothing in this eternity situation foreshadows that the Conjoint Actor would personalize.” With his power to create ministering spirits—beings who would subsequently serve material creatures in the evolving universes—the Conjoint Actor liberated the Father from the constraints of centralized perfection and personality absolutism.

While the Father is the universal upholder, the Son the universal revealer, and Paradise the universal stabilizer, the Conjoint Actor is “the universal unifier of the manifold energies and diverse creations that have appeared in consequence of the divine plan and the eternal purpose of the Universal Father” (9:0.2) . He is the revelation of the unity of God.

The Father is. The Son expresses. The Spirit does.

Also known as the Infinite Spirit and the Conjoint Creator, his influence and created ministering personalities are “ever near.” It is said they really know and truly understand us mortal humans. He pervades all space, is perfect, changeless, and absolute.
