Paper 1 is significant not only because it is the first paper in The Urantia Book but because it introduces us to one of the basic and most mysterious truths of the entire Urantia revelation: God is the Original Personality who is the source of all personality and free will in the universe. God is known by many names, but we can know him best as a loving Father. He has given us personality and free will that we may know him and become like him.
